If you're able to remove all other facts and focus on one narrow thought, hunger is the body's alarm system calling for nutrition.

Whatever you last ate provided you with a particular amount of nutrition,
and when the energy produced by that earlier nutrition is used up, the body calls for more.

When you eat food that you know is not what your nutritionist is likely to recommend, your body gets little nutrition from it. So, you're going to get hungrier faster. That doesn't mean your goal is to eliminate the need or desire for food. It means moving towards that ideal.

The second consideration is that any and all food that the body does not perceive as nutritious causes a secondary challenge. Food that is not nutritious denies us nutrition at the same time that it presents very identifiable interference with many of the body's functions.

First and foremost is the digestive system itself. Clogging up means clogging up the machinery that is assigned the jobs of storing the food and processing the food into smaller pieces so that nutrition can be extracted from the food.

Second is the liver. Poor bastard. Designed to work occasionally,
the majority of all human livers are choked all the way through reduced function, lower energy, less pizazz, and death.
The majority of all citizens of this country have choked-up livers.
That's because it is assigned too much overtime.

The liver is designed to take in items that don't belong in the body, break them into smaller component parts, and pass them on through to get them out of the body. Anything that came from an animal requires at least ten to sixteen hours of processing by the liver. Unfortunately, we put more animal products in before the liver is done processing the last batch of animal proteins and products, byproducts and detritus. Giving the liver a break would go far, but most people are too weak to exercise any measure of control regarding their desires of any given moment, which is the sum description of instant gratitification versus deeper and long-lasting gratification or fulfillment.

Because we don't wait for the liver to finish its job before pushing more work product in, the liver does not get to rest each day, as it certainly is entitled to as much as or as little as the rest of the body and mind attached to that liver. Therefore, the liver ends up working for thousands of days in a row around the clock, with never or rarely a break. How could any rational mind expect a liver to function effectively if it's never or only rarely allowed to regenerate itself?

This is one narrow fact is so vital that we'll not even use time right now to detail a dozen sophisticated processes that are hugely impacted the nutritive process because the effects from your liver no longer able to sustain a twenty-four hour effort are too widespread inside of you and across the population.

Do you know that the majority of sudden eyesight challenges, no matter what your age, are directly related to reduced liver function as a result of nutritive disasters? ... that you are literally full of crap? That bulge in your stomach is not fatty tissue; it's food that came in that did not come out. Any food that is not nutritious leaves behind some percentage of itself in your lower intestine and colon. Clean out the food you are carrying and you can lose ten or twenty pounds per week without even giving up any of the foods you're currently eating.

To some people, that makes no sense. Why bother getting rid of garbage if you're only going to put more garbage in?

There are two answers to this.

First, it is a perfect halfway point. Once you personally understand that you're included in the group of people who are going to live with continued reduction of ability to climb stairs or pick up your grandchildren or much of anything else, you're more likely to clean out some of the garbage. When you see how fantastically fast you lose weight, your energy and flexibility and general well-being increase by so much that there is now a reasonable chance that you'll start putting better fuel into your body regularly.

As well, I generally read a book each day between midnight and four in the morning. Because so many books can be digested in an hour or two, there's often another book or a dozen back issues of NY TIMES Sunday Magazine in between commands to each of the several computers I try to operate for a thousand or more minutes per day. No, that does not interfere with my fifteen minutes of guitar each day, or fifteen minutes working on new tricks with an animal or two, etc. That's because I choose to use more of my 1,440 daily minutes, which is simply fourteen different chunks of one hundred minutes each, or one hundred chunks of fourteen point four minutes each.

If you knew better, you'd do better. Stop trying to impress us. Rubbing my alleged intelligence in your face is not to impress you, since you don't pay my rent and don't even need to know my name. In other words, it is brought to your attention less to impress you than to impress UPON you that there are many high-powered shortcuts to health and wealth. If you do not have a flat stomach it is because you are very scientifically, evidentially, and provably full of crap. Clean out that nasty garbage and you will enjoy dozens and even more dozens of benefits. Your spleen, kidneys, prostate, ovaries, stomach, heart, lymp nodes and lymphatic system, nervous system, respiratory system, even your creativity and mental functions are all absolutely guaranteed to get huge and healthy benefits, but let's forget about all of those, because this is about your liver.

When your liver is clogged with oils and fats and meat saturated in drugs and other damage-carrying chemicals, you invite cancer and heart disease, and if you think it's not going to happen to you, maybe you need to look up the fact that it was only in your childhood, or that of your parents, that cancer happened to just a few people. More than a million Americans were diagnosed with cancer in the most recent twelve months and half will be dead by next year's million or more new diagnoses. If you knew better, you'd do better.

Much more importantly, your liver, which is supposed to rest like every other bit of tissue and organ and more, has not had a break since your childhood. Stop and look from a different vantage point. That means you need not improve anything, buy anything, or actually do anything.beyond thinking past the way you are right now Pretend for just one single thirty-second slice of time that you have been hired as a protector and advocate of a special client who happens to be keeping you alive. That client is your liver. Never mind forty-hour work weeks; your liver is now operating twenty-four hours per day trying to process foods that did not even exist thirty or fifty years ago. Twenty-four hours per day you are working it, and, like Vitamin B, you can operate on a deficiency for up to five years or more and then WHAM!

Understand the difference between a cold going away and losing a tooth or a bone.
One is an injury or invasion we survive and still function at one hundred percent; the other is not.
You may function just fine with one less tooth, or ten less teeth, but you're not operating at one hundred percent.

The comparison to the liver is that, again, like the problems that result when our bodies run out of Vitamin B, the damage is often irreversible. Most people do not know that the liver is the most commonly regenerated internal organ, second only to skin, which is the largest organ of all.
